Hey Reader,
Let me tell you about one of the simplest changes I’ve made that’s brought way more ease to how I run things:
A “Business Hub” project in Asana.
If you’ve never used Asana before, it’s a project management tool that helps you plan, organise and keep track of tasks in your business. Think of it like a supercharged to-do list that your whole team can access. You can create projects, assign tasks, add deadlines and keep everything in one place instead of scattered across inboxes, sticky notes and late-night brain dumps. And that’s just the free version. If you upgrade to paid, you can build automations, manage team capacity, track multiple projects in a portfolio view and more. It’s genuinely my second brain and I love it!
My Business Hub is where I keep everything I use on a regular basis, from my most-used links to brand assets to recurring admin tasks.
A lot of people tell me they’re not sure they’ll stick with a tool like Asana. And yes… part of it is habit-building and discipline.
But honestly? I think it helps if your workspace actually feels nice to be in.
My Business Hub is clean, organised and (dare I say it) a little bit pretty. My teen daughter would say it’s “giving it girl aesthetic”.
Custom banners. Clear sections. My brand colours. It makes a difference.
If it looks good and feels good to use, you’re way more likely to open it… and importantly keep using it.
Here’s some of what’s in my Business Hub:
- Start Here - a few Loom video walkthroughs for team members
- Mission, Vision + Values - including a virtual business card that I can copy & paste quickly for online networking events
- Ideal Client Avatar - all the intel on my ideal client
- Branding - links to my brand style + brand voice guide
- Marketing - a reference task for content pillars + stock captions (though I now use MeetEdgar for that bit)
- Lead Magnets - including links to landing pages etc
One project. One tab. My brain - organised, and dare I say, cute.
If your business currently lives across 14 browser tabs, 3 random Notion pages, a few notebooks and one very overwhelmed mental filing cabinet…
Try setting up a Business Hub.
And if you’d love a little help getting Asana working for your business - I’ve got something for you.

It’s a practical walkthrough of how I use Asana day-to-day in my own business. No jargon, no over-engineered templates, just real systems that make work feel lighter.
Whether you’re flying solo or leading a small team, this will help you get your stuff together in a way that feels calm, clear and kind of pretty.
Best,
Sarah
